Jeff Rhodes, Ed.D.

Jeff Rhodes is the current University Registrar at University of Texas - Pan American. He has extensive experience in higher education scheduling and enrollment management and is a frequent presenter and author in those areas.
A native of the Texas panhandle, Dr. Rhodes moved with his family to East Africa at the age of nine. After graduating with a high school diploma from Rift Valley Academy in Kenya, he returned to West Texas and attended Texas Tech University. Dr. Rhodes enjoys good coffee, intriguing books, travel, and golf. He is blessed to have a close-knit family and cherishes time spent with his wife and children.

Hannah King

Hannah joined Baylor University, a school of 15,000 students located in Waco, Texas, in 2010. Hannah is currently working to implement Astra Schedule on Baylor’s campus. Responsibilities relating to Hannah’s position include training faculty and staff across campus on the Astra system, working with departments to create and verify preference sets, customizing and designing reports, providing support to all users on campus, and verifying the accuracy of all data in Astra Schedule. In addition to her Astra responsibilities, Hannah assists with student registration, classroom and exam scheduling, and commencement preparation.

Amanda Vásquez
Associate Registrar
University of Texas at El Paso
Amanda Vásquez earned Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degrees in Political Science from the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP). She currently serves as Associate Registrar at UTEP, overseeing scheduling, management of the course catalog, and office activities related to UTEP’s student information system. Previously, she served as Curriculum and Academic Reports Coordinator in the Office of the Provost, managing selected accreditation reports, new program proposals, and curriculum revisions; and serving as a contact for internal and external units including the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS), The University of Texas System, the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board, UTEP’s Enrollment Services, and UTEP’s Undergraduate Studies. Due to her work with Sungard Higher Education’s Curriculum, Advising, and Program Planning (CAPP) degree audit tool in the Banner Student Information System, Ms. Vásquez was asked to serve on Sungard’s CAPP Steering Committee in 2011. She also serves on Ad Astra’s Client Advisory Board. Prior to her career at UTEP, Ms. Vásquez was a teacher in the Ysleta Independent School District in El Paso, Texas.

Tim Snellenberger
Technology Coordinator, Registrar's Office
Central Michigan University
Tim retired from Central Michigan University with Emeritus status as the Associate Director of Information Technology – Operations in 2003. In December 2004, he re-joined the ranks at CMU in the Registrar's Office as their Technology Coordinator. CMU is a school that enrolls 27,000 on campus in Mount Pleasant as well as throughout numerous off-campus locations in US. Tim is the systems administrator for the Astra Schedule installation on the CMU campus, and is actively involved as an Astra Schedule beta tester. His Astra Schedule goals include upgrading to version 7.5 in 2012 and expanding its utilization. Additional responsibilities include maintaining all aspects of the department's workstations, Registrar's Subject Matter Expert for Perceptive Software Imagenow, systems administrator for the OpenText Alchemy imaging system; he also provides technical support for SAP's SLCM student information system.
Tim is actively involved in community service. He currently serves on the Funds Allocation Committee of the Isabella County United Way, has served on the Board of Directors and was Board President from 2006 to 2009. He is an Eagle Scout and recipient of the Order of the Arrow Distinguished Service award.

Janessa Walls
Director of Academic Support & Facilities Resources
Texas Tech University
Janessa has been with the office Academic Support & Facilities Resources (ASFR) at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas since 2005. She holds a Masters Degree in International Business and a Bachelors Degree in Finance. Her primary responsibilities include leading the general purpose classroom initiative, building the collaborative/centralized scheduling atmosphere, enrollment management as it relates to section offerings, custodian of reportable data, and advisor for university space management.
As the Director, she supervises the academic schedule build practices & policies, final exam schedule build, academic classroom event management, and room file maintenance. She serves as a member on Academic Council, Facilities Allocation Council, Academic Calendar Committee and the executive core team for Banner & Ad Astra on TTU campus.
