Joe Papari
Director of Enrollment Services for Student Systems and Technology
Southern Methodist University
Joe joined the Southern Methodist University Information Technology staff in 1980. For the last 25 years Joe has served as an Associate Registrar and Director in the Office of the University Registrar and the Division of Enrollment Services.
Joe has lead the implementation of several enterprise information systems at Southern Methodist University, including the PeopleSoft Student Information system, the ImageNow imaging system, and the Astra scheduling system. Currently his primary responsibilities include providing functional/technical support and training for Astra Schedule, ImageNow, PeopleSoft Student Information systems, and web development for the Division of Enrollment Services.
Currently, Astra Schedule is being used at SMU for all classroom scheduling and most event scheduling. SMU plans to upgrade to version 7.5 and expand usage to include all events by mid-2013.
